SKYMAX were recently awarded a contract for works at Darwin International Airport on behalf of the Northern Territory Government of Australia. We worked extremely hard to get this project across the line with extensive consultations and approvals sought from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia.
What made this particular job unique above all others was that we were venturing into unchartered territory having to set a precedent for the way that our operations had to take place in this particular environment. We’re privileged to have been given the opportunity to operate a drone on a runway at a major International Airport in Australia and are excited to explore the future potential for its application with drone technology.
