The Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA) has granted Skymax a new CASR Part 101 RPA Operator’s Certificate (ReOC).
The addition of this new certificate allows Skymax to perform Powered Lift category operations, in addition to previous Multi-rotor and Aeroplane certifications. Powered lift aircraft have the ability to vary the magnitude and direction of the force produced by the propulsion system so as to control the overall lift and streamwise force components of the aircraft, with the objective of enabling the aircraft to operate from small, enclosed and minimum sized takeoff/landing sites.
